I’ve gotten quite a few comments on my tagline on LinkedIn, especially the “Empoweress” portion.

What’s an empoweress?

Let’s break it down.

Empower: to promote the self-actualization or influence of

Empress: a woman who is a sovereign ruler of great power and rank, especially one ruling an empire

More specifically, the Empress from a spirituality viewpoint, is the embodiment of connectedness to the universe, the natural world, and what she knows or believes from her heart.

She’s represented by Gaia, Isis, and Demeter.

She rules from her intuition.

She unlocks the vastly unlimited potential for productivity and creativity that occurs once the subconscious has been sparked by the self consciousness.

She tells us to slow down, trust, and settle into the earth, finding new ways to govern by 𝒔𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 to everyone we encounter.

In high school, I wasn’t outgoing until I knew you really well. I often hid behind my best friend’s personality to meet new people. She empowered me.

So for me, being an Empoweress, means that I will randomly walk up to strangers and compliment their hair, their shoes, their tie, whatever. Because we all need that boost, whether we realize it or not.

I’m gonna hype you up in person, like Spliff Star did for Busta Rhymes. He said, “It’s all about treating the show like it’s yours…but you don’t want to outshine the MC”.

If I interact with others via a screen and not in person, I’m gonna clap- or heart-emoji the ish out of your post.
